About
Jungle Jam Tv is the only web site featuring video guides of buildings and landmarks geo-tagged on Google Maps. Only recently relaunched the site is beating Wikitravel, Tripadvisor, Lonelyplanet and other big travel sites to the top of Google's results pages for the content already published in JJtv pages. Featured videos include castles, museums, art, churches, graveyards, local businesses etc and illustrate the history and relevant story of the building, statue or monument in video and photos alongside the text of the commentary for reference purposes. The future is with this type of information being downloaded onto ipods and iphones so users no longer need bulky travel books. The site will soon be open to everyone so it can be developed like the Wikipedia model therefore enabling anyone with a bit of interest on a building/landmark to upload it so others can avail of the free information in a unique guide. The user-friendly interface means users can choose guides based on location or categories, watch the short videos and learn all relevant, objective info about that single building. It's ideal for tourists who just want to know about the sights and simply skip the too detailed parts; ideal for researches who can follow a video trail of specific information and also use the extra reference material referred to; ideal for those curious enough who just want to peek inside a building or find out quick info on their city.
