How's gonna take advantage of the Blognation debacle? Anyway, as an entrepreneur, I couldn't be other than disappointed if a blog covering European startups will fail. We need support, not gossip and trash talking.

Shafqat, I couldn't agree more with your point! What I don't understand is why so few people (almost nobody) raise your same concern. At the same time if you think of a service like Netvibes (which is not for the average-mainstream user IMO) having millions of users you think that it's mainstream... but I think it's not and you realize it when you ask your friends if they know it... Anyway getting millions of users gives you the opportunity to grow a great business but we can't consider Netvibes, Digg, Twitter etc. the average startup. They are phenomenal in their space and for 1 service like these 1000 (or more) will miserably fail or stay in the shade. So yes, even if they have millions of users they still represent a tiny niche of the mass. Who's gonna find a web 2.0 or whatever service for the masses will be the next billionaire.

Sounds definitely interesting! Anybody got an idea of the fee they charge? To be honest the experience I had with traditional recruitment agencies so far have been a complete failure under many aspects. Iperium Consulting sounds like a game-changing company in the start up space.

I also voted to EuropeanStartups because its effort in creating an alternative source of information about european early stage ventures is admirable. Also, a vote goes to Snagsta and my pal Phillip, I'm really looking forward to seeing their launch!

My vote goes to Veedow not only because it's my start up ;) but mainly because it's a new approach to products discovery and an new way to get valuable information about the topics that matter to you. It's inherently social and the bigger the community the better! Think of it as the Last.fm of shopping.
