A few weeks ago I have asked registered users if they would like to have own posts at EuropeanStartups. This time, I am providing them with that opportunity!

Just moments ago I have introduced a new functionality to EuropeanStartups.com - "My Control Center", a site which gives you a blog writing interface. Just log in to your account and you will notice "My Control Center" link in the Header of the page.

Once you open your control center you will see a link "Write a new post" and "List my Blog posts", which I'd say are self explanatory. Once you write a post, it will be "proposed" for publishing. A proposed post will be approved or not approved within 24 hours. If it is not approved you will receive an explanatory message with suggestions how to change that decision. Until the post is approved you are able to edit it or delete it. Once it is approved, it will stay as such permanently.

What should the posts be about? As EuropeanStartups is a weblog dedicated to spread a word about European Web startups and to cover topics that are in any way related to European technology startups: emerging technologies, investors, successful businesses, people who make the difference, etc, please try to keep the focus in that area. Feel free to advertise your own business in an informative and educational manner. If you'd like to give an opinion about someone else's product and the post about that product already exist, write a comment to that post.

If you have any suggestions or concerns just send me an email to europeanstartups [at] gmail [dot] com, and I will be glad to response as soon as humanly possible.

I'd like to congratulate Alex Moore, MD at Snagsta, for the first post "Clearing the clutter from your desktop" via the new system!

Virtual company vs headquarters (9)
by Mark Kofman, CEO, SourceKibitzer

I would like to discuss with the community the issue of how start-ups should operate. Whether it is more reasonable to be virtual company with employees working from home. Or is it still more efficient to get together in one physical office every day.

by Fabio De Bernardi, MD, Veedow Ltd.

Both my co-founder and I are not techies. We are developing a pretty complex web app and we decided to have an internal team of 2 developers to start with.
